Aerobic Septic System Maintenance Contract Agreements

The State of Texas and Hays County require maintenance contracts on aerobic septic systems. They require these systems to be inspected by a qualified technician at prescribed intervals, reports be sent to permitting authorities, and repaired in a timely fashion. We offer single to multi-year deals (normally two-year with a discount) on maintenance contracts.

Our service includes the following;

  • Contract submittal and renewal notification
  • Sludge levels in ATU (tank 2) and pump tank (tank 3) access permitting (very important)
  • Water clarity and condition
  • Compressor operation
  • Effluent pump operation
  • Sprinkler operation
  • Control panel operation
  • Notify owner of any deficiency or any repair (most repairs require prior approval)
  • Report submittal to permitting authority

Real Estate Inspections (stress free)

Includes everything above plus a detailed report of system operation and opinions on manufacture equipment, installation, repairs that are required, and repairs to meet “best practice.” We are NAWT certified and accepted by Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors. We are authorized to do change of ownership inspections in Hays County.

It is our goal to make the home selling and buying process as stress free as possible.

Most problems found during “change of ownership inspections” are minor in scope. Our reports are simple, direct, and backed with over 14 years of actual service, repair, and installation experience. We KNOW aerobic septic systems!

Lift Stations / Grinder Pump Services – We are currently not offering this service.

A grinder pump is a wastewater conveyance device. Waste from water-using household appliances flows through the home’s pipes into the grinder pump’s holding tank. Once the wastewater inside the tank reaches a specific level, the pump will turn on, grind the waste into a fine slurry, and pump it to the central sewer system or septic tank.

For more information see our Lift Stations and Grinder Pumps Page.

Root Remediation

Roots are proving to be a significant problem in central Texas.

Septic systems are full of high nutrient water and for some reason the trees prefer the aerated section of aerobic septic systems. This is a huge problem for most systems because of the way they are manufactured and/or assembled. Roots are getting in, and in some cases, they are getting in areas that cannot be seen nor retrieved without significant intervention.

We are addressing this problem head on and have equipment dedicated to solve these problems as efficiently and quickly as possible resulting in no water flow stoppages in the house.
